Optimised Cold Storage for Stoke-on-Trent McDonald’s Refurbishment
As part of a refurbishment programme at McDonald’s Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent, TQ Refrigeration was approached to install and commission refrigeration equipment for a chilled and frozen food cold room.
The cooling capacity for the rooms was provided by J & E Hall condensing units coupled to Kelvion evaporators.
The work included positioning new condensing units on the flat roof of the restaurant and installing the associated mechanical and electrical services. The refrigeration services were installed and pressure tested for strength and leak tightness to industry standards. The installation of cold room lighting, commissioning, and handover were completed on time.
TQ Refrigeration’s efficient and precise execution ensured the cold storage needs of McDonald’s Longton were met seamlessly, supporting the restaurant’s operations during the refurbishment.
