We’ve been busy behind the scenes at SPAR Calver…

At TQ Refrigeration, we’re proud to have completed a full refrigeration refit at the Calver store, nestled in the heart of Hope Valley. Working on behalf of AF Blakemore & Son for E T White & Sons. The project was all about upgrading to smarter, more energy-efficient solutions, all without disrupting the store’s operations for long.

We started by decommissioning and removing all the existing remote refrigeration systems. In their place, we installed brand new cabinets and a bespoke inverter-driven refrigeration plant, tailored specifically to the needs of SPAR Calver.

Timing was key. The store closed its doors on Sunday Night, and by Friday, we’d handed it back fully commissioned and ready to go! Keeping downtime to an absolute minimum for customers and staff alike.

The new cabinets came directly from the Bond Group, and the refrigeration plant was custom built by Robert C Scutt Limited, a long-standing and trusted supplier of ours. Their craftsmanship and reliability helped ensure everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

This refit is a great example of how thoughtful upgrades can make a big difference, not just in energy savings, but in keeping businesses running efficiently.
